Chopsticks come in various length and you might want to use different size origami paper accordingly. Our chopsticks turned out to be fairly long, at over 8 inches and we used a larger 8 1/4 inch origami paper so that the chopsticks will fit nicely in the wrapper. And they did!

Origami Chopstick Wrapper Step 1: Start with a square origami paper color side down.

Origami Chopstick Wrapper Step 9: We need to "seal" our chopstick wrapper. So, just fold about 1/2 inch over on the left side. It's best to use glue or double-sided tape for this so that our chopsticks or pens don't fall out of the wrapper!

From Levie in Brisbane " Modified chopstick holder, made in plain black to match my bento furoshiki (also pictured). I shortened the width to 10cm which made a much tighter fit and it holds the chopsticks without needing to flick up the bottom so a much smoother finish. "

Nice modification, Levie!

From Kim in Woodland " Origami chopstick wrapper made with a dollar bill. It's not a square piece, but it worked nicely and would be the perfect size for a regular-sized pair of chopsticks. I didn't happen to have any on hand. I made this after I made the four designs made for dollar bills, so my dollar was quite beaten up by this point. "
