Origami hats made from newspaper are used all over the world as temporary hats when there's a sudden rain.
Let's see how it's done.

Origami Hat
You'll need a rectangular piece of paper.
If you have a square piece, we'll make a rectangle as shown in the first four photos below.
Now fold your rectangle in half, below left. The fold the top corners towards the middle as shown.Crease the folds so that the piece lays almost flat. The take the bottom edge of the paper and fold it upwards.
Flip the piece over and fold the other edge upwards. Then open up your origami hat!
