Origami Modular Pyramid

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch (15cm x 15cm) square origami paper color side down. Fold on both the vertical and horizontal axis, crease well and unfold.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 2: Fold the bottom half to meet the center crease. Unfold.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 3: Fold the bottom section in half on the dotted line shown below.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 4: Now fold the paper in half, bring the bottom edge to meet the top edge.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 5: Fold both the right and left sides to meet the center crease. Crease well and unfold.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 6: Fold the paper on a diagonal on the dotted line shown below.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 7: Fold AB over (top layer only!) to meet AC.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 8: Fold on the dotted line shown below.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 9: Fold AB over to meet AC.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 10: Make 2 folds along the dotted lines shown below. Crease well and unfold.

This is your modular unit. You will need to fold 4 of this to assemble the modular pyramid.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 11: The assembly of this modular pyramid is very simple. Just insert on tip into a pocket.... and repeat.

Origami Modular Pyramid Step 12: Continue to attach the 3rd and 4th unit by simply inserting the tips into pockets.
